Once your tattoo is complete the tattoo artist will tell you the best way to take care of your new tattoo and it is probably a good idea to listen to him. Most shops will have an information sheet listing care instructions. There are three things to remember about caring for your new tattoo, moisturize it but do not over moisturize it and most importantly, NEVER pick at the scabs as they begin to form.

Allergic Reactions To Tattoo Ink

Tattoo ink allergies are not that common and when they actually do occur, the allergic reactions are most probably an allergic reaction to red tattoo ink. The reason for this is that red tattoo ink is the only ink color which tattoo ink makers haven’t succeeded in making hypoallergenic. They have succeeded with other tattoo ink colors but red ink is still very much a difficult issue.
